So as you know I’ve been going to the Gym to strengthen my arms up and hopefully get into a manual wheelchair permanently.
My Trainer lets call him Elvis 👨🎤 had anual leave this week. Now Elvis isn’t any old trainer I’ve known him for quite a few years although not seen him for awhile. He used to teach me spinning before i got ill and i knew instantly when I’d decided i was going to go back to the gym , I’d want him there to help me . He takes training seriously but you can have a laugh too but i trust that if i am struggling to breathe he will be there because he is good at his job .
All weekend I’ve been in complete freak mode stressing even though things had been organised for another super nice trainer to help me. It was just that i didn’t really know him .
So this morning started off with a visit to the Hospital where i discovered that in a previous abdominal scan my right kidney could not be located. I wasn’t told 🤔 lol. Blood tests and working out seems to have made my veins surface a bit because they got got a vein 1st go !!!💉 . I do need to have a word with Elvis 🎤about that though because i don’t want to end up with green veiny arms ! With having green hair I’ll look like the friggin hulk🐸 ( no hulk emojis)
I got to the gym 😨💩 because i was delayed at the Hospital (who’d have thought) it was supposed to be his lunch break but he worked through it.
The unassisted ones without the ventilator didn’t go too well as i panicked but when i got my ventilator on, boo ya , 62mins 45secs 🎉🎊🏆
It was so hard going to that gym today but im so glad i did. I was looked after very well by trainer number 2 . I feel so silly to feel so worked up about it. The old me wouldn’t have bothered but then i guess the old me didn’t gasp for breath and feel like she had straps tightening around her chest😲
Back again tomorrow then hopefully den making at the river with my boys. I’m the foreman 👷♀️. Weather dependent. 🌝⛅
